Man’s Best Friend: IWD Offers Security, Maintenance and Ongoing Support to Animal Hospital Website

As a group of five, highly-volume animal hospitals in Toronto, Pet Wellness Network (PWN), has a robust website. With the web design and the majority of development in place we were brought on post-launch to provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for the content-heavy site.

Within the site each individual hospital has a number of pages highlighting their own neighbourhood, distinct services, and clinic teams. On top of this there are also shared, or overarching pages, including the blog, tributes to pets that have passed away and their adopt-a-pet services, that concern the group of hospitals as whole. This is a whole lotta content that PWN wants to keep current and safe.

Initially we reviewed the original code to ensure high quality experience on the front and back ends. Integrating WordPress into the backend has given the teams at each hospital the opportunity to add their personal stories (both human and animal) to their own hospital’s content.

From there the site was transferred to a safer environment as a part of a security plan we created to protect the site and its treasured content from any future malware attacks. The vets at the Pet Wellness Network are there to provide preventative, ongoing and emergency care for your pet in the same ways that we provide ongoing development, support and maintenance for their online home.
